Your Feet Have Something to Tell You

I stumbled on something. No pun intended. But it's important. Pay attention. You may learn something important about your health from your feet. And here's more.

1. Hairlessness may indicate poor circulation. “... if you have somebody with a lot of body hair and none on their feet and ankles, it could indicate an arterial issue...
2. Cold feet may also indicate poor circulation.
3. Swollen, sore big toes could be a sign of gout.
  4. Dry, flaky skin may be athlete's foot.

Games Nudists Play: Chess

"One great thing about playing against a naked man in chess is that there are no pockets for electronic devices, so you can be absolutely sure he is not cheating." Jennifer Shahade

Playing chess with a naked woman also ensures that she has no pockets and is not hiding any devices.

Get Caught Reading

Get caught reading, you say?

YES!!  May is Get Caught Reading Month!!

Reading anywhere and everywhere matters. GCR was first launched in 1999 by The Association of American Publishers. Their website doesn't seem to have been updated lately, however, but the meaning still holds true. Read what you want, when you want, wherever you want, with or without your clothing.

April is National Poetry Month

In the United States and Canada, April is National Poetry Month.  I was a fan of poetry when I was a child. But as I grew older, I developed an aversion to poetry.  I don't even know where that dislike came from, and maybe aversion is too strong a word - it became more of a resistance to poetry.   This month, a change happened in me and poetry is not as distasteful to me anymore. I have started to read a bit of poetry, and have even written a couple! Maybe I owe this transformation to National Poetry Month. Thank you, Academy of American Poets!

Bare as a jaybird,
Freely being me, myself
And I, unadorned.

Unrestricted
Unsnapped

Unclosed
Unclothed.
Nudity is...Undeniable, open freedom.

IN NUDE by Pablo Neruda

In nude you are as bare as one of your hands

smooth, earthly, small, round, transparent

with lines of moon and paths of an apple,

in nude you’re slender like a naked stem of wheat.

In nude you look blue like the Cuban night

with stars and vines in your hair,

in nude you are whole and yellow

like summer in a church of gold.

In nude you look tiny like one of your finger nails

curvy, subtle, rose-colored like the rising dawn

and you move back to the world's underground.

As if in a large tunnel of robes and chores:

your clarity, dressed, blinds and drops its leaves

and other times becomes a naked hand again.

-tr. Ravi Kopra

Desnuda eres enorme y amarilla

Wedding Season

Yes... soon it will be the wedding season.

Have you ever attended a nudist wedding?

I stumbled upon a man's first experience at a nudist wedding. I like how he ended his account...
"...you will never feel the same about clothes or yourself again."

But...but...butt

Buttock
noun but·tock \ˈbÉ™t-É™k\   (Medical Dictionary)
Medical Definition of BUTTOCK
1 in humans:  the back of a hip that forms one of the fleshy parts on which a person sits
2  buttocks pl :  the seat of the body;
also in animals :  the corresponding part of a quadruped :  rump

Wikipedia says: The buttocks (singular: buttock) are two rounded portions of the anatomy, located on the posterior of the pelvic region of apes and humans, and many other bipeds or quadrupeds, and comprise a layer of fat superimposed on the gluteus maximus and gluteus medius muscles. Physiologically, the buttocks enable weight to be taken off the feet while sitting. In many cultures, they play a role in sexual attraction.[1] Many cultures have also used them as a safe target for corporal punishment.[2] There are several connotations of buttocks in art, fashion, culture and humor, and the English language is replete with many popular synonyms. In humans they are located between the lower back and the perineum.
