Did You Know....???

While surfing the web, I discovered some interesting and some little known facts and trivia about nudity.

FACT:
Ancient Olympic athletes competed in the nude.

FACT:
In ancient Egypt, children didn't wear clothing until they were six years old.

FACT
Less than 8% Americans sleep in the nude.

FACT:
In 2011,  legislator Scott Wiener of San Francisco proposed "nudity guidelines" as part of Public Health Legislation making it a crime for nude people who don't cover a seat with a towel when sitting in public seating.
Hey buddy! Where is your towel??
FACT:
You dream that you are naked.... "If you dream that you are proud of your nakedness and show no embarrassment or shame, then it symbolizes your unrestricted freedom. You have nothing to hide and are proud of who you are."
Interpret your naked dreams here.
No one seems to notice...

FACT
There are people afraid to be nude and be seen nude. Gymnophobics. - Comes from the Greek word gymnos = naked, phobos = fear.

FACT:
An unlikely magazine caused a big controversy when it published a photo of a nude modeling class in it's August 30, 1902 issue. It was the first and only nude photo ever in this magazine.
This photo? Nope.
Not this one either.

Did you guess correctly? It was this photo, in Popular Mechanics Magazine, August 30, 1902.
